Dr. Borislava Manojlovic
Executive Director

 

Dr. Borislava ManojlovicAs Executive Director, Dr. Manojlovic has overall strategic and operational responsibility for the execution of Communities Connect’s mission. Dr. Manojlovic is an expert in international affairs, conflict analysis and resolution, education in post-conflict settings and development. She worked on minorities and reconciliation related issues with the United Nations and the Organization for Security and Cooperation in Europe in both Croatia and Kosovo for more than seven years. As the Director of Research at the School of Diplomacy and International Relations, Seton Hall University, she led and implemented numerous research projects that focus on sustainable development, peacebuilding, education, governance and women issues. Her new book on Education for Sustainable Peace and Conflict-Resilient Communities is published by Palgrave Macmillan in 2017.

 

 

 

Morgan McMichen
Fellow with Communities Connect

 

Morgan McMichenHer expertise includes applying a global perspective to international organizations, development, global negotiations and conflict management by working with ordinary citizens affected by conflict. She is a graduate of the School of Diplomacy and International Relations, Seton Hall University where specialized both in Global Negotiation and Conflict Management as well as Post-Conflict Reconstruction and Sustainability. Morgan’s interests include local conflict mitigation, the power of creating legitimacy, trust, and common ground, and dialogue paired with action as a means to prevent, transform, and heal conflict. Morgan is a peace ambassador, both academically and as a practitioner.

 

 

 

 

 

Glorija Todorovic
Balkans Coordinator

 

Glorija’s expertise includes providing tourist services, logistics, giving support on site, reaching out to different NGOs and other organizations that are active in the Balkans. She has a BA in English Language and Literature as well as significant experience in organizing study abroad courses for American students. Her interests include connecting local people and different NGOs with experts and students coming from the West, all with a purpose of promoting peace, stability and development.
